Commander Fazal Haqqani separates from TTP

KURRAM AGENCY: Local commander Fazal Saeed Haqqani has separated from the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and formed a new group called Tehrik-i-Taliban (Islami), Geo News reported.

Speaking to the media, Fazal Haqqani said he had taken this step in protest against the suicide attacks on mosques and people.

According to sources, Fazal Saeed Haqqani was the TTP commander in Kurram Agency and had step up training centers in different areas. In past, associates of Fazal Haqqani would kidnap people and keep them in their training centers. After they would receive compensation they used to release or kill their captives.
