Ayaz Soomro defers 874 promotions in small industries

KARACHI: After holding charge of Minister for Industries and Trade, Ayaz Soomro has deferred the promotion of 874 employees of small industries.

According to the Industries and Trade department sources, committee of Sindh Small Industries have been dissolved and Ayaz Soomro put a bar on promotions and transfers.

Minister for Industries and Trade also sought report from Secretary Zameer Ahmad Khan over mismanagement in promotions of employees, sources added.

Ayaz Soomro urged workers to work hard with honesty and dedication. He said no unjust would take place with anyone and every one would be given their due rights.

He said that investors would be provided all facilities in order to combat unemployment and poverty issues in the Sindh province.
