Karachi: late night search operation conducted

KARACHI: Police on Thursday night launched search operation in various areas of the metropolis to control law and order situation in the metropolis.

According to SSP West Asif Ali Sheikh, the search operation was launched in Gulfamabad, Qasba Colony and Bukhari Colony among various areas of Orangi Town. More than 1000 police commandos among regional police and intelligence personnel took part in the operation during which 15 suspects were arrested.

DIG East said that search operation was also carried out in various parts of Gulshan e Iqbal block 14, Madina Colony, PIB Colony, New Town and the residential flats at the back side of Civic centre. However, recovery of arms and detention of criminals were not shown.
