Pride of Democracy International praises IMO's social services

Brussels: Umer Memon, chairman of the Pride of Democracy International, has said that the services of the International Memon Organization (IMO) are praiseworthy in terms of social services. IMO is playing an important role in every sector of society.

He expressed these views during a telephonic conversation with IMO Pakistan Chapter President, Asif Majeed Panawala. He congratulated Asif Majeed, his entire team and IMO on successful arrangements for the "Winter Family Festival” Season 2 and "Saving Market" (Bachat Bazar). He added that organising such a large event is a testament to the capabilities of Asif Majeed and his team, where more than 30,000 members of the Memon community, including women, children, youth and senior citizens from around the world participated during the festival.

Umer Memon thanked President Pakistan Chapter Asif Majeed Panawala and the entire organisation, saying that IMO is playing a very commendable role and providing their services in various sectors, especially education, health and the socio-economic field to the needy people.

Memon further said that he would extend his full support and cooperation in every way to the IMO across the world including Pakistan. He thanked Asif Majid for awarding him Memorial Shield on behalf of IMO.

Remember that during his recent visit to Pakistan, among other events, he attended the Winter Family Festival and Savings Bazaar where he was awarded a special commemorative shield by IMO in recognition of his social and welfare services to the people.

Umer Memon was accompanied by a former member of the National Assembly and well-known political and labour leader Abdul Aziz Memon, along with Nadeem Memon, Shafi Memon and others. IMO also honoured Abdul Aziz Memon with the prestigious Memorial Shield in recognition of his outstanding performance and social services in various fields.

Umer Memon congratulated IMO on gathering all the members of the Memon community on one platform.

He emphasized that as the Memon community played an important role in the stability of Pakistan at its inception and after that, in the present situation we will have to re-unite and play our strong role in strengthening Pakistan.
