MULTAN: Quetta Gladiators reached the Multan Cricket Stadium for their Pakistan Super League 2020 match with Multan Sultans just three-and-a-half hours before it was scheduled to begin, reported Geo News

A spokesperson for the Pakistan Cricket Board said that the delay in the arrival was because there were no flights available from Islamabad to Multan on a Saturday.

However, the Pakistan Air Force helped the PCB avoid major embarrassment by accepting a request by the cricket board to arrange an alternate flight for the Quetta team.

A C-130 arrived in Multan at 9am with the Quetta team. The same plane was also used to transport the Karachi Kings to Islamabad for their other match, the spokesperson added.
