THIS announcement about Wimbledon 2010 likely to disappoint Kate Middleton

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is a huge tennis fan and has attended every Wimbledon tournament since her royal wedding.

She is also the patron of The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) since 2016. 

She took over the role from the Queen who remained the patron for 64 years. 

According to local media, the AELTC  has cancelled Wimbledon 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and the announcement is set to disappoint Kate Middleton.

A statement issued by the organizers said: "It is with great regret that the Main Board of the All England Club (AELTC) and the Committee of Management of The Championships have today decided that The Championships 2020 will be cancelled due to public health concerns linked to the coronavirus epidemic. The 134th Championships will instead be staged from 28 June to 11 July 2021."
