In a bid to spread awareness regarding the coronavirus through innovative ways, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has taken a different approach to educate the people about the preventive measures with the help of Mr Bean.

WHO in collaboration with Project Everyone and Tiger Aspect Productions launched the Public Service Announcement (PSA) which has now become a new hit among people.

The global health body in a video posted on its YouTube channel outlined precautionary measures against the deadly coronavirus where the global comedy cartoon star can be seen tackling a pesky roller blind to unveil several important tips to protect people against the contagion that has claimed thousands of lives around the world.

“COVID-19 affects every walk of human life, and we need to use all tools and avenues at our disposal to share life-saving information with all people around the world. I am grateful for the support of the team behind Mr Bean for lending your voice and talents to spread vital advice on physical distancing, hygiene and knowing the symptoms," said Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organisation.

The global health organisation had previously partnered with social lip-syncing social media platform Tik Tok to spread awareness about the coronavirus, where the content creators were imparting knowledge about the virus through their engaging Tik Tok videos.
