Pepsi to continue as Pakistan cricket team's partner till June 30 next year

LAHORE: Pepsi will remain the official partner of the men;s national Pakistan cricket team for an additional year after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced it had extended the brand's contract for another year. 

The Board in its statement Thursday said the partnership will run initially until June 30 2021, during which period Pakistan will take on England in the upcoming Test and T20I series from August 5, play the T20 World Cup, a home series against Zimbabwe and South Africa, and an away series against South Africa, New Zealand and Zimbabwe.

PepsiCo Pakistan Director Marketing and Franchise, Saad Munawar Khan said, “We are proud to continue our much cherished journey with Pakistan cricket as the principal partner of the Pakistan men’s national cricket team.”

Babar Hamid, the PCB’s commercial director said he was delighted to have reached an agreement with the brand for the next 12 months.

On the other hand, easypaisa, Pakistan’s first mobile financial services platform, will be the associate partner of the Pakistan men’s national cricket team for the upcoming tour of England.
