PESHAWAR: Capital City Police during a midnight operation against outlaws have arrested 35 criminals, including five proclaimed offenders and recovered sophisticated weapons from their possession.
A police team constituted on the directives of CCPO, conducted midnight raids on the suspected hideouts of the criminals in Matani, Pahari Pura, PS Kotwali and Pishtakhara.
Proclaimed offenders Ismail of Matani, Alam Khan of Yusuf Abad, Tariq of Gulbahar, Niaz Ali of Balu amd Feroz of Paokay and 30 other criminals were arrested. Two machine guns, one hand grenade, 11 pistols and hundreds of cartridges were recovered from them. Five kilogram hashish and five bottles of liquor were also recovered. (APP)
