WhatsApp working on support chat threads to help you manage bug reports

In a bid to manage bug reports, widely-used messaging app WhatsApp is working on support chat threads.

According to WABetalnfo, Support Threads are verified end-to-end encrypted chats and they'll be closed after an issue is fixed. They are also expected to be available in a future iOS and Android update.

In addition, to reiterate its commitment to privacy, WhatsApp has recently reminded users, or those on the fence to subscribe or leave the platform, that chats between two or even in a group, are between the people themselves — no one else.

It has rolled out a campaign titled "It's between you" for users.

WhatsApp, on February 18, had communicated to its users that privacy in chats is in no way breached under the new terms of service that are set to kick in on May 15.

"Nothing comes between you and your privacy," it stated firmly.
