Queen Elizabeth has suggested all senior male royals wear suits and ties at Prince Philip's funeral

Queen Elizabeth has barred all members of the royal family from wearing military outfits in order to avoid the sole focus of Prince Philip's funeral from getting deviated.

Previously, there was drama around Prince Harry's choice of attire for the day, with many wanting him to opt out of wearing his military uniform after he gave up his position as a working royal.

Prince Andrew, who shared close friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, was also demanded he foregoes his military uniform.

In light of the fiasco, the Queen has suggested all senior male royals wear suits and ties.

A military source told The Sun, “It’s the most eloquent solution to the problem.”

“The Queen and the rest of the family want nothing to detract from what is most important, commemorating the Duke’s remarkable life," a separate royal source said.

However, there has not been an official statement by the Buckingham Palace as to what the royals will be wearing so far.
