Institutions destroyed due to govt’s incapability: Nawaz

KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mian Nawaz Sharif said Tuesday that the national institutions are suffering and are on the verge of destruction due to government’s incompetency, Geo News reported.

While addressing members of PML-N Sindh labour wing and other labour parties in a local hotel, he said institutions and banks that were privatized during his tenure are flourishing now and more employment opportunities have emerged. He said that he would secure employment rights in case of privatization if elected.

Nawaz said that PML-N has always given importance to labour rights. He said national institutions were destroyed as government was unable to lead them effectively. He said if the government runs the institutions properly, it can save nation’s 300 billion rupees.

While accusing the government of ruining institutions like Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Nawaz urged the employees of such institutions to sit together and give practical solutions to save their institutions.
