Islamabad keen on ties with Kabul: Salman Bashir

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir Wednesday said that Pakistan was keen on its relations with Afghanistan, Geo News reported.

Talking to newsmen after the meeting of National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, he said Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar would very soon Kabul to push the envelope even further.

To a query Bashir said, ties with US and the stance on Nato supplies were contingent upon Parliament’s say.

On indiscriminate attacks by US drones, he said, such attacks were a violation of a country’s sovereignty in the light of all the international laws.

Earlier, foreign secretary briefed the NA body on the bill regarding the development of biological weapons in Pakistan.
