During the COVID-19 pandemic, working from home has become common but an American citizen brought his belongings from his apartment and shifted to his office as a protest against low wage.
In a video that is making rounds on TikTok, the man could be seen setting his necessary items into his cubicle. "Homing from work," he captioned the video.
Simon — the man in the video — could be heard saying: “This is me taking all of my belongings in multiple bags and unpacking them. I am moving from my apartment into my cubicle.”
“If you are not going to pay me enough, so as a matter of protest, I am going to live at my job. And we will see how long we can get away with this,” the man says in the video.
However, his attempt failed and he was fired from the office four days after his video went viral. Moreover, his manager asked him to remove the videos and pictures from social media, to which Simon refused.
