A picture of a man has been making rounds on the internet in which he can be seen holding a placard, asking for help from former cricketer Shahid Afridi and star player Muhammad Rizwan.

The placard said: “Rizwan and Shahid Afridi, please help my son get operated.” In the picture, a child could also be seen standing beside the man holding a placard. The boy requested the commentators and the cameramen to focus on him.

The picture was captured during the second Test between Pakistan and Australia in Karachi. As soon as the picture went viral, it captured the attention of both the Pakistani cricketers.

Taking to Twitter, Shahid Afridi shared the picture and wrote: “Thank you for bringing my attention to this child. My team @SAFoundationN has reached out and contacted the child’s family.”

Afridi further said all necessary steps will be taken to provide the child with care and support.

On the other hand, Rizwan said that he has spoken to Afridi about the child.

Thanking Afridi for taking care of him and appreciating his help, Rizwan said: “You are hope for millions.”
