  • He gets arrested for 'attempt to murder'.
  • He stands before local court which sends him to jail.

AAP's youth wing leader, Yuvrajsinh Jadeja, allegedly dragged an on-duty policeman on the bonnet of his car and got arrested, reported Zee News.

A senior police official reported that the leader was taken into custody by Gandhinagar police, being charged with "attempt to murder" under section 307 of the IPC.

"After some heated arguments, Jadeja attacked a few on-duty policemen and ran to his car after more cops gathered at the spot. He then drove his car, trying to flee the spot," the IPS officer told reporters.

"He did not stop his car when a constable signalled him to do so," he added.

Constable Laxman Vasava had to latch on to the bonnet to prevent himself from being hit by the speeding car.

"The incident was recorded on the dashboard camera of Jadeja's car. The constable could have died in this incident," said the Inspector General.

The AAP leader stood before a local court which sent him to jail.
