Shaheen Afridi shares iftari with 'lala' Shahid Afridi

Pakistan's pace sensation Shaheen Shah Afridi shared iftari with ex-cricket captain Shahid Afridi, who is also his future father-in-law.

The former captain had last year confirmed that his daughter will get married to Shaheen, but the date of their marriage is yet to be announced.

"Iftari with Lala," Shaheen said in a picture caption on Instagram of him and Afridi praying ahead of the iftar, with traditional iftari items on the menu.

Meanwhile, Afridi, sharing the same picture on Instagram, shared a message on the importance of Ramadan for the masses.

"As iftar approaches, we should utilise this time to make sincere dua, since it’s a time of acceptance," Afridi said.

"With a clean heart and the sincerest of duas I pray for peace and prosperity of my beloved Pakistan and all of its people, Ameen," Afridi said.
