Sindh Rangers, FIA raid KMC’s office, seize data

KARACHI: The Pakistan Rangers Sindh and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) carried out a raid at the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s Land and Revenue and Engineering departments located at the Civic Centre here, sources said Friday night.

Sources told Geo News the raid was carried out with the consent of higher authorities.

They said Jahangir Baloch, Director Land of the KMC, was also present when the paramilitary force and the FIA carried out the search operation.

The sources further said that data of the two departments was being loaded on a truck by Rangers’ personnel.

They said office of the Land and Revenue Department is located on the third floor of the Civic Centre, adding that no arrest was made during the raid.
