John Stamos recently revealed how his cruel nickname in the 80s led him to visit Michael Jackson's plastic surgeon.

E!News obtained an excerpt from his newly released memoir If You Would’ve Told Me and reported on the years John was called “Big Nose Stamos.”

The General Hospital star wrote that he became increasingly self-conscious while watching himself on TV, “When I saw my nose on screen for the first time, it’s all I could look at."

The 60-year-old actor further wrote: “Fixating on my nose was beginning to detract from my performance. Plus, the early years of bullying made me ready to make a change.”

After getting his first nose job during a filming hiatus, John thought "it looked like Peter Pan's." On his next break from soap operas, he had to get it redone by Michael Jackson’s plastic surgeon.

John said he would've gotten more surgeries if it wasn't for his mom's support who made him feel safe.

"It matters to her that I don’t get so swept up in the moment that I lose my connection to family, friends, faith, and fun," he concluded.
