The trailer for Shahrukh Khan-starrer Dunki has been released on the day of his birthday.

As King Khan celebrates another year around the sun, the teaser for his third film of 2023 is finally here, following the success of his other blockbusters Pathaan and Jawan

The eagerly-awaited clip marks Shahrukh’s first collaboration with hit filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani which begins with a group of people dressed in black who are trying to cross a desert as a shooter targets them with a rifle.

The scene then cuts to a flashback which shows a bunch of friends from Punjab who dream of leaving their country and work in London someday which includes Shahrukh, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and two others.

The 58-year-old actor, who will be playing the role of Hardy, can be heard saying in a voiceover that he will help his friends get to London by any means necessary.

Last year, in an interview with Deadline, Shahrukh termed Dunki as a comedic film, “Rajkumar Hirani films are always a mix of comedy and a lot of emotions about the country. The film goes through different areas around the world and finally comes back home to India.”
