Ushna Shah announces birth of first child

Pakistani actor Ushna Shah and her husband, Hamza Amin, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy, the star announced on social media.

Sharing pictures of the newborn on Instagram on Tuesday, Shah introduced him as a “little lion cub” and said he had already taken over their world.

“Cute would be an understatement,” Shah wrote in the caption, adding that the baby’s routine was “eat, sleep, poop, repeat”.

The actor also shared pictures of the newborn in a lion-themed outfit, with one image showing him dressed as a lion cub while The Lion King played in the background.

Other pictures showed welcome cookies and floral arrangements prepared for the baby, as well as the newborn resting in his crib.

Fans and fellow celebrities congratulated Shah and her husband on the arrival of their first child.

Shah gained fame in the Pakistani drama industry through her brilliant performances. She tied the knot with Amin in 2023.
