Rajkumar Hirani, known for his prudent financial planning, has made Dunki with just INR 85 crore, making it Shah Rukh Khan’s lowest-budgeted film since Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

As reported by Pinkvilla, the modest figure excludes cast and crew fees. However, the typical talent fee addition, including marketing and print expenses, shot the budget to INR 120 crores.

Another aspect that may explain the less budget burden is the completion of the shoot in 75 days.

Notably, prior to release, Dunki had become profitable after receiving lucrative non-theatrical rights, giving the filmmaker a profit margin of approximately INR 100 crore.

In other news, the megastar riding on the success of two smashing-hit - Pathaan and Jawan - has unveiled the film's first track, Lutt Putt Gaya.

Taking to Instagram, the Don star shared, “Tere Dil Mein Tent Lagaunga Tere Ishq mein Goteh Khaunga Main toh gaya… Lutt Putt Gaya 30 days to the journey of Love….#Dunki. #DunkiDrop2 – #LuttPuttGaya song out tomorrow!”

Meanwhile, Khan and Hirani's Dunki project will hit the theatres internationally on December 21.
