Zac Goldsmith, former UK minister for environment, and brother to Jemima Goldsmith has pleaded guilty to four over-speeding incidents and has been banned from driving until mid-March, Sky News reported.

Goldsmith, also faces three other driving-related offences, including one in Somerset.

According to the court proceedings, the first offence happened on April 27 2023, when he was found driving at the speed of 29mph, despite the limit being 20mph along the Chelsea Embankment.

Just a month later, on May 31, he was again found speeding on the A316 in Twickenham at the speed of 46mph while the limit was 40mph.

He was caught speeding on that same road on 3 August, while driving at 47mph.

A month before the August incident, on July 18, Goldsmith exceeded the 20mph limit on Bayswater Road, next to Kensington Gardens, while travelling at 28mph.

District Judge Nina Tempia imposed an interim disqualification, banning him from driving until his sentencing at Westminster Magistrates' Court on March 18.

Goldsmiths Sentencing is to be held in Westminster Magistrates' Court on March 18, un till then he has been imposed by an interim disqualification, banning him from driving.

The uttermost retribution he can be imposed with for speeding is a fine and penalty points or a driving disqualification.
