Deco, the current sporting director at Camp Nou and former Portugal international, shared insights into Cristiano Ronaldo's extraordinary talent that left his former teammate in awe, Goal reported.

Having played alongside CR7 for 57 international matches, Deco witnessed only 10 defeats when they were on the pitch together, both making their senior debuts for the Selecao in 2003.

Reflecting on Ronaldo's evolution into a five-time Ballon d’Or winner and football legend, Deco highlighted the uniqueness that set Ronaldo apart.

In an interview with FourFourTwo, Deco emphasised Ronaldo's unparalleled attributes, describing the experience of being around him as something different both on and off the pitch.

He specifically noted Ronaldo's exceptional speed, intensity, and ability to tire out opponents, a trait he hadn't witnessed in any other player before.

Deco reminisced about Ronaldo's early days as a tricky winger, showcasing quick feet and agility to outmanoeuvre opposition full-backs.

Over the years, Ronaldo's game evolved, transforming him into a formidable striker and setting numerous goalscoring records. At 39, Ronaldo continues to showcase his prowess, currently playing for Saudi Pro League's Al-Nassr and gearing up with the Portuguese national team for Euro 2024.

With no signs of slowing down, Ronaldo's enduring impact on the football world remains unparalleled.
