After a brief reunion with his Portugal teammates, Cristiano Ronaldo proved Saturday that he is back in the game as Al-Nassr beat Riyadh’s other team Al-Tai 5-0 in their Saudi Pro League clash, Sportstar reported.
Despite Al Nassr’s latest victory and Ronaldo’s exploits, the team has failed to move past unbeaten Saudi Pro League leaders Al-Hilal and maintains its position 12 points behind the leaders even after 25 matches.
However, what made Saturday’s face-off special was the Portuguese soccer legend’s remarkable hattrick where he netted three times in the second half of the game.
The 39-year-old former Real Madrid star took to social media to celebrate and share his second hattrick in the league for this season, which is also his 64th career hattrick, with his fans.
Ronaldo shared clicks from the match on X, formerly known as Twitter, captioning the post: "This is how we do it. Amazing victory and another hat-trick!"
Al-Nassr and Ronaldo can still look forward to snatching Al-Hilal’s title when they play against Abha in the Pro League on Tuesday, which will be followed by a trip to Damac on April 5.
