Jimmie Allen admits cheating on Alexis Gale amid divorce proceedings

Jimmie Allen opened up about his marriage to Alexis Gale and the pressures of societal expectations.

As per PEOPLE report, during recent interview Jimmie discussed his marriage to Alexis Gale, revealing he wasn't prepared for the commitment.

The Best Shot singer explained that his decision to marry was heavily influenced by external pressures rather than a personal desire to be a husband.

He said, "when I got married, I knew I wasn't ready to be a husband, But I was at this point in my life where it felt like I should do that because I heard constantly, ‘You should be married, you should be this.’"

This revelation comes amid Jimmie's ongoing divorce proceeding with Gale, which began in April 2023.

Jimmie expressed regret over not being more honest with Gale about his readiness for marriage and his ability to remain faithful.

"I cheated on her multiple times. She knew about it," he admitted.

Jimmie Allen also reflected on the role that societal standards played in his life choices, stating, "You can find yourself believing what other people want to push onto your life, I was a prisoner of it."
