Two suspects of Abbas Town blast arrested in Karachi

KARACHI: Two suspects involved in the Abbas Town blast were arrested from Afghan Colony near Northern Bypass here on Thursday.

The arrested suspects Mansoor and Inamullah Mehsud belong to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Alam Sher group. The suspects are believed to be the masterminds of the bombing.

Police are conducting raids in Orangi Town to arrest three suspects who remain at large.

On March 3, at least 49 people were killed and over 150 injured as a powerful bomb was detonated in the Abbas Town area of Karachi.
