Sabrina Carpenter just revealed why she can’t show her Spotify Wrapped for this year.
Revealing the embarrassing reason behind it, the 25-year-old artist mentioned that she listens to her own music a lot.
The Espresso singer who has garnered wild popularity via her latest album, Short n’ Sweet, also added that she is now, no longer afraid to admit that she likes to stream her own music.
In a conversation with Vogue, Carpenter was asked is she had pulled up this year’s Spotify Wrapped of her account, to which she replied, “I did. It’s funny because when I first saw mine, my initial reaction was, ‘Oh, damn, I can’t post that, because I’m on my own [list]. It’s a bit conceited.’”
The On My Way singer continued, “But then I was like, I guess it’s a good thing that I’m on my list and listening to my own music, because it means I f*** with what I do… But the other ones were Dolly Parton, ABBA, Kacey Musgraves, and the Bee Gees.”
This comes recently after Carpenter admitted that she has been listening to the legendary Bee Gees “every day.”
"Right now, I listen to Bee Gees every day. The Bee Gees are my safe place right now. And my mom was talking a lot about them yesterday, because I was like, 'Well, I don't think any of them were all that attractive, but their voices were so stunning,'” she told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1.
