ECP orders Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to replace IG

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has ordered the provincial government to replace IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Akbar Hoti.

The ECP had received complaints regarding Hoti that several of his close associates were candidates in the upcoming elections.

Taking notice of these complaints, the ECP has ordered the provincial government to replace the IG on an immediate basis.
