Jennifer Lopez, an American singer, has made the decision to cancel all of her scheduled media appearances, according to reports.
She reportedly wants to turn her focus to helping the people who are suffering from the wildfires raging across L.A.
“It’s important to her to focus on supporting the community of Los Angeles during this very difficult time,” explained a source.
Before the cancellation, she was all set to appear on Live with Kelly and Mark, The View as well as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She is currently in the process of promoting her new film, Unstoppable.
The premiere of the movie was going to take place a few days earlier, but it was also cancelled due to the critical situation.
“As much as we were looking forward to celebrating this wonderful and inspiring film with you, safety is our first priority. Thank you for your understanding and please stay safe,” stated a representative from Amazon MGM Studios.
Lopez earlier shared several resources on her social media for those impacted by the fires, “My heart is with everyone affected by the L.A. fires. At times like these, our strength lies in supporting one another.”
Her stories included resources for animal care and mental health as well as the locations of several shelters.
Several celebrities have lost their homes to the fires, including stars like Adam Brody, Eugene Levy, Paris Hilton and more.
