'Ginny & Georgia' star teases character's potential exit in season 4

Ginny & Georgia star, Humberly Gonzalez, recently talked about her character Sophie.

In her latest chat with Us Weekly, Humberly González shared if fans should expect her to return to the fourth installment of the series after graduating from high school.

She began by playing coy and expressed, “I have no idea. I didn’t even know if I was going to come back in season 3.”

Humberly went on to say that the show’s higher ups are better aware if there is a need for her character to return.

“This is something the creators choose — especially because I have no idea where season 4 is going to go,” she added and pointed, “I don’t know if it’s going to follow chronological order. What if we go forward in time or backwards in time?”

However, she teased, “What if we were right where we left off? Then yeah, I guess we would see graduation. What if it’s a continuation and Sophie asks Max to go to prom? There’s a lot of different avenues I could see here.”

“I’m always really happy to come and do a little cameo. Obviously, I think the majority of Sophie’s storyline was at the start of the show and it’s always cool to see how it could all wrap up. But that’s the life of an actor,” she continued.

The Venezuelan-Canadian actress concluded by remarking, “You graduate to other projects and you’re like, ‘OK, I must say goodbye to this other one that I really love.'”
