Hollywood actress slams LA fires response

As raging fires engulfed LA, Elizabeth Chambers, an actress in Hollywood, called out the authorities for not doing enough in their response.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, The Game Plan actress was furious when asked to reflect on city officials' work to contain the blazes.

“I think it was a disaster,” the TV personality added. “I don’t think anybody was ready. I think it is on a scale that nobody anticipated.”

At least 27 people have died in the deadly fires which broke out on January 7.

In other news, Dave Chappelle, in his fourth appearance on Saturday Night Live, reflected on the fires in LA,"It’s way too soon to make jokes about a catastrophe like that” as it “hits close to home” as so many friends lost their homes.

He continued, “And then I go on the internet, and I watch these fire videos, and I read the comments sections, and everyone’s like, ‘Yeah it serves these celebrities right, I hope their houses burn down.’”

“And you see that? That right there, that’s why I hate poor people, because they can’t see past their own pain,” the comedian concluded.
