Sean 'Diddy' Combs' trial has begun, and he reportedly arrived all smiles for the first day of jury selection in his case.

According to a tipster close to the hip hop mogul who spoke to Hollywood insider Rob Shuter, Diddy is confident he can convince the jury to side with him.

According to Radar Online, Rob wrote on Substack: "Diddy is confident. He believes he can convince a jury he's innocent – in his own words. He wants the world to hear his truth."

Diddy was arrested in September last year and indicted over charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution.

"He doesn’t want to hide behind lawyers. He’s still the master of the mic – and he thinks the jury will believe him over anyone else," said the mole.

However, the rapper’s lawyer revealed that he’s eager to testify in the case. But other experts say that testifying will make the prosecutors able to cros question him, which can be dangerous for him.

A former legal consultant told Shuter: "There’s a fine line between confidence and arrogance. Getting on the stand can be dangerous. Prosecutors will go after him hard."

"He's betting everything on himself. And in classic Diddy fashion, he thinks he’s going to win," the consultant added.
