Kate Middleton on Tuesday presented The Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design at a prestigious London event on Tuesday.

According to the British media, the ceremony took place at London's 180 Studios and was hosted by the British Fashion Council.

Each year, the award is presented to an emerging British fashion designer who demonstrates exceptional talent and originality.

A report said that the Princess of Wales wore Victoria Beckham's design at the event hosted by the British Fashion Council.

The wife of Prince William spent time chatting to other designers to hear more about their sustainable pieces. 

Taking to Twitter, royal expert Cameron Walker said Kate Middleton honored "bold young creatives, championing sustainability, and celebrating the best of British fashion.”

Initiated in 2018, the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design is a prestigious honor that recognizes exceptional talent and originality in emerging British fashion designers. 

It aims to provide a legacy of support for the industry, acknowledging the significant role British fashion plays in culture, trade, and diplomacy.
