Sabrina Carpenter just dropped the music video of her 2025 album’s title track, Manchild.
The pop genre song begins with the appearance of the singer herself going “Oh boy!” as cars pass her by in a deserted area while she attempts to bag a lift from someone.
Wearing a rather sultry attire, a crop top and thigh-high denim shorts, her hair let down loose in signature blonde curls, a man finally stops and offers her a ride which initially goes on with an awkward silence between the two as Sabrina’s song plays in the back.
The video additionally features very fast changing moments, from the Espresso singer riding the back of truck, to having her portrait painted in front of a scenic view.
Sabrina can also be seen playing pool with a gun and also arguing with a man on a table during lunch.
Supposedly, the video also features a dig on men as she proceeds to sing “Amen” and a snap of her taking a bath in bubbly water appears where she says “Hey men,” and two pigs are sitting in front of her in the same tub.
The video then changes to a scene where a man is firing gunshots at Sabrina and two other girls, who do seem to be running away from the bullets but rather effortlessly and happily.
The video prompted fans to instantly react to the rather fast paced story that the Please Please Please crooner portrayed.
“Sabrina Carpenter gave us feeling of a whole vintage movie in just 4 minutes,” a fan commented while another wrote, “oh hello that was the most chaotic sabrina carpenter mv ever and im all here for it”
“"You blink and you miss half of the story" This applies to this MV coz every 2 second something chaotic is happening,” a third wrote rather hilariously.
A fourth user mentioned, “This feels like a montage of clips from a show put together you know what I mean? Like the scenes seem so lively and fun it’s like they’re right from a movie.”
For the unversed, Manchild is Sabrina Carpenter’s seventh studio album, however further details about the project are currently under wraps.
