Halle Bailey has been granted legal and physical custody of her son.

The Little Mermaid star, 25, requested sole custody of the 16-month-old toddler after she alleged her rapper ex-boyfriend DDG of physical and emotional abuse.

The temporary custody was awarded with a restraining order against DDG, which orders the Twitch streamer to remain over 100 yards away from Bailey and Halo at all times.

The restraining order is set to expire on the court hearing, scheduled for June 4, 2025.

Bailey also requested that her ex-boyfriend not be allowed visitation with his son but agreed to supervised visits for the father-of-one in the presence of a professional company once a week for six hours while Halo is in Los Angeles.

Additionally, Bailey is asking the court to bar DDG from taking their son outside of the county of Los Angeles.

She has also requested the judge for an order to prevent child abduction, recalling DDG's history of allegedly abusing her, taking away or hiding Halo from her, threatening to take away or hide Halo from her, and not cooperating with her in parenting.

Bailey asks that a judge order DDG not to travel with Halo without her written permission and to turn in or not apply for passports or other important documents for their son.

If he does travel with Halo with her permission, she is asking the judge to order that DDG provide his travel schedule, copies of round-trip airline tickets, addresses, and phone numbers where they can be reached, and an open airline ticket for her if Halo is not returned.

Bailey, who split from DDG in 2024, recalled several instances of alleged abuse and concluded her statement by saying she's "done everything possible to avoid going to Court."
