Lo Bosworth just got candid about her endometriosis surgery, which took place eight weeks after her fiancé’s double-jaw surgery.

The 38-year-old American TV personality attended the 13th Annual Endometriosis Foundation of America's Blossom Ball at The Pierre in New York City on Thursday, May 15.

While talking with PEOPLE magazine, Bosworth revealed that her surgery and diagnosis were “really tough.”

She also went on to admit that her painful health journey has brought her close to her partner, Don Natale.

The Laguna Beach star said, “It was a bigger surgery and a more complex recovery than I anticipated.”

“I felt really isolated and lonely throughout my recovery. I had my fiancé taking care of me, but I hadn't really told many people beyond just my immediate circle,” she added.

“We really formed such a strong unit. We've been through a lot, but he's the best. I couldn't ask for a better partner,” The Hills alum noted.

For those unversed, as per the World Health Organisation, endometriosis “is a disease in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus.”

It is pertinent to mention that, as per the estimated figure of the organisation, around 190 million women are suffering from endometriosis worldwide.
