The life cycle of Meghan Markle’s projects to date have caused quite a bit of commotion and has even led commentator Daniela Elser to pen an entire piece highlighting its past.

She shared this on News.com.au and the piece talks at length about the bumpy starts, abrupt halts, backtracking and even flops the Sussexes have suffered before finally getting the first launch of As Ever out.

In the eyes of Ms Elser even this new pitch for change makes it “hard to keep abreast of where things stand with the duchess’ move into the lifestyle space because it’s been a long, bumpy ride to even get to this point.”

For those unversed with that announcement she shared it in an interview with the Fast Company and it revolves around taking “a step back, gather data from the launch, and figure out exactly what As Ever could be.” i.e. a move into the hotel landscape.

To the expert though “it sounded like the duchess was singing from a similar songsheet when she released a bonus episode of her Confessions Of A Female Founder podcast with Tina Knowles, aka Beyoncé’s mum, in which she talked about ‘pausing’ the brand.”

All in all, “as far as births go, the lifestyle brand’s has been a long and painful one without an epidural,” she added before signing off completely.
