The carriage list released by Royal Ascot on Friday, however, did not mention the names of any senior member of the royal family except for King Charles and Queen Camilla.

The monarch and his wife were the only royals riding in the procession on Friday, sharing a carriage with Lord and Lady Cavendish of Furness.

In addition to the king and queen leading the procession, other members of the extended royal family were also in attendance.
