Bill Belichick addresses Jordon Hudson romance in leaked emails

Bill Belichick has spoken out about his dynamics with his much younger girlfriend Jordon Hudson again.

The 73-year-old Belichick, who now coaches football at the University of North Carolina, was addressing the controversial romance with the 24-year-old Hudson in a series of leaked emails.

“Jordon and I have both a personal & professional relationship,” Belichick allegedly wrote to UNC’s Beth Keith, a senior associate vice chancellor in the Office of University Communications, per WRAL.

“This is not a secret. Jordon assists me with my personal media, which is why I asked UNC to forward media requests (E.G. CBS 60 Minutes) to her. Jordon has zero involvement in the UNC football program, beyond the degree that my personal media intersects with it,” Belichick added as he explained why she attended his April interview.

The recent scrutiny began with the CBS Sunday Morning interview in April that aimed at the promotion of Belichick's new book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football.

In the email written following the interview, Belichick addressed that the former cheerleader had planned to remain off-camera but was filmed without her consent.

Belichick revealed that his publicist David Kass — who works for the publishing company behind Belichick’s book Simon & Schuster — was “not there,” which then led to Hudson attending the interview.

He asserted that the interview strayed from agreed-upon boundaries when questions about his private life arose, prompting Hudson to intervene on camera.

He continued, “I included Jordon in the book acknowledgments because she was a creative contributor to the book, including having the idea for formatting the 4 special pages in the book.”

Hudson’s visible presence at UNC and during Belichick’s media appearances has raised concerns about their controversial age gap.
