A shocking dashcam video has gone viral recording the moment a UPS cargo plane crashed fatally.

The unfortunate plane took off from Louisville International Airport on Tuesday, October 4, killing at least seven people and igniting a massive fuel-fed fire.

The footage, taken from a trucker’s vehicle, shows the sudden, explosive crash followed by the driver’s horrified reaction as he jumps from his cab, exclaiming, “Oh my god.”

In the video, a huge fire is burning and a first responder running to the location depicts the destruction that occurred immediately after 5:15 PM local time.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear verified the number of dead saying it was very high and victims on the ground had very serious injuries.

At least 11 others were injured. The plane's three crew members are believed to be among the dead.

According to Governor Beshear, in a press conference, the pictures and the video demonstrate how violent the crash is, and people should avoid the crash site because of the constant threat of fire and explosions, caused by the presence of flammable materials and possible explosions.

The plane was a McDonnell Douglas MD-11F that was loaded with fuel amounting to 38,000 gallons and was heading to Hawaii in a planned journey of 4300 miles when it crashed.

The gigantic fire consumed at least two nearby businesses, one of which was an auto business in which two employees were still missing at the time of the evening of Tuesday, November 4.

The crash caused a provisional shelter-in-place and cancelled all departing flights.

According to the details given by the Louisville fire department, the spilled fuel was very dangerous, considering the amount of fuel spilled.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has initiated a probe to establish the cause of the crash.

The event was a major shakeup of Louisville, the city of the UPS town that hosts the global air hub of the company, Worldport.

UPS has suspended operations in the plant and it is terribly saddened by the tragedy.
