Miley Cyrus takes hilarious swipe at fiancé Maxx Morando

Miley Cyrus’ fiancé, Maxx Morando, was able to keep the proposal under wraps until the moment he got down on one knee and presented the dazzling jewel to the pop star.

The 33-year-old actress and songstress, who announced her engagement earlier this week, talked at length about her ring in a new interview.

The Angels Like You hitmaker appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday, December 4, and the host jokingly asked about the reason behind Morando’s proposal near the holiday season, saying, “Your fiancé, I wonder if he realises — Maxx is your fiancé — if he waited like, three weeks he wouldn’t have to come up with a Christmas gift.”

Joining in on the joke, Cyrus quipped, “This was [a] Black Friday deal, baby.”

The Flowers songstress was quick to set the record straight, as she said, “It wasn’t but he was smart that way. It might have been. I’m not sure.”

Later in the show, Kimmel asked the Hannah Montana alum about her and Morando’s plans for Christmas, upon which she revealed that she is not particularly fond of the holiday, owing to her hatred for wrapping paper.

Cyrus joked that one of the reasons behind her getting engaged is so that she can have her fiancé open the presents outside their house.

Soon after the Disney star confirmed her engagement, she appeared on Good Morning America and shared the details behind her big moment.

Cyrus revealed that Morando popped the question suddenly, without her having any idea, and gushed about being excited for this next chapter of her life.
