Katie Price shares pain over Dwight Yorke's absence for Harvey

Katie Price has opened up about her ex Dwight Yorke cold behaviour towards their son Harvey, revealing he has refused to meet him several times.

The glamour model, 47, became pregnant with Harvey during a brief relationship with footballer Dwight, now 54.

Dwight has no contact with Harvey, who is autistic, blind and has Prader-Willi syndrome.

In the podcast interview, Life Stories by Lewis Nicholls, Katie branded Dwight a 'sperm donor.' 

Kate says: 'For me, I thought it's important that when Harvey grows up, I never want him to say, 'Why didn't you let my dad see me? and all of that. But Harvey doesn't understand, which is probably a good thing.' 

She also detailed her mum Amy's efforts to reach out to Dwight so he could see his son. 

She explains: 'Every year, my mum contacts his manager, 'Do you want to see Harvey for his birthday? Do you want to see him for Christmas? 'It's always the same answer, just not interested.' 

When Katie first fell pregnant with Harvey, Dwight denied being the father, until a DNA test later confirmed his paternity. 

In a heartbreaking video taken earlier this year, Harvey is seen asking for his dad as he wore the football shirt and chanted: 'Oi oi, Yorkie!' 

The mum-of-five could be heard cheering on Harvey in the background as she urged him to chant by saying: 'Go.' She then cheered on her eldest son after he said his message.
