David and Victoria Beckham are facing some new drama after making another request to change their Cotswolds home.
The couple has submitted its 44th planning application in 10 years. This time, they want to replace part of the building with new doors and windows and add a small oak balcony to the property.
According to the planning documents, the changes have been designed to match the look of the Grade II listed home.
The application, however, says that the work will not damage any historic parts of the building and will fit in with its original style.
The Beckhams bought this property in 2016 and they spent years to improve it. They have already added some features which include tennis court, treehouse, security hut, larger garage, landscaped pond and new entrance gates.
This year, they also received permission for a new driveway and a large woodland around the estate.
Their latest plans, moreover, have once again upset some neighbours. Critics say that the couple keeps making small changes instead of submitting one big plan.
Some even accused them of turning the quiet countryside into something that feels more like a suburban neighbourhood.
One neighbour objected as well to some of their applications over the years, while another argued previously that new building work would spoil the peaceful area.
