Ariana Grande's kind gesture brings smile to Adam Sandler's face

Ariana Grande’s kind gesture has brought a smile to Adam Sandler’s face during their recent conversation on their movies.

Both stars were paired for CNN and Variety’s Actors on Actors and they talked about filming emotionally charged scenes as well as getting their dream role in the movies.

Ariana was in the middle of explaining how she “has never in her life” felt anything like getting the call to play Glinda in Wicked for Good movie.

To which Adam asked so what was the process, and the singer-turned -actress replied, “I begged for an audition”.

At that time, the Murder Mystery actor had a cough after which Ariana checked up on him, making sure everything is okay.

Adam first responded, “Yeah, yeah,” and then he started laughing, saying, “Thank you”.

Ariana apologised and said, “Let it out! You are safe here with me.”

Interestingly, the whole environment turned pleasant and then the actress continued with her response about Glinda.

She reiterated that she had to “beg for an audition,” because they didn’t want anyone they knew.

“So, I had to beg to being considered in the first place,” remarked the 32-year-old while speaking to Adam.

Ariana recalled that the first audition she sang for both roles, one was No One Mourns the Wicked and the other was Defying Gravity.

When Adam asked, “You and piano” to which Ariana responded, “Yes, the piano was in the room.”

Later, Ariana mentioned that the movie head offered the role of Glinda to her.

Elsewhere in the chat, the actor revealed that his kid loved Wicked songs and especially Defying Gravity.

Ariana and Adam also shared their experience of filming emotional scenes.

“I am a crier in life, but it’s not as easy when you’re performing. It’s not a party trick,” she stated.

But Ariana cried five times while watching Adam’s performance in Jay Kelly movie.

Meanwhile, Adam added that he found it difficult to tap into his tears.
