Meghan Markle seemed to have sparked quite the buzz about her possible return to the UK as Prince Harry prepares for his own visit.
The Duke of Sussex, who is expected to arrive in London next week for a court hearing against the DailyMail publishers, is also expecting a verdict from the UK Home Office about his taxpayer funded police protection.
Harry had stressed that he would not be bringing back his family back to his home country unless his security was reinstated. There had been suggestions that Meghan could be coming back for the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham, as she hasn’t missed the event since she married the Duke of Sussex.
Sarah Vine, DailyMail columnist, argued that Meghan will return to the UK as the “royal fairy dust is finally wearing off” and she is looking to stay relevant across the pond as well.
Meanwhile, PR expert Mayah Riaz issued a warning to Sussexes about Meghan’s presence in the UK, which could backfire for them.
Mayah told The Mirror that Meghan’s power has “always been strongest in the US, where the royal association already works as shorthand for global status”. She explained that Meghan’s visit would “likely reignite old narratives rather than create new ones” and that would also not help Harry’s visit.
It seems that Meghan is steering clear from the drama for the time being as she shared an update regarding her current plans.
The As Ever Founder was seen holding a secret meeting with friends, playing board games, exuding a relaxed vibe.
Meghan also launched a new collection from her brand, introducing a leather bookmark for her customers.
Given the reports about the expansion of the business, it seems that Meghan going to focus on that instead before making any appearances on British soil.
