SINGAPORE: US oil prices extended their losses in Asian trade Wednesday as dealers focused on rising stockpiles that indicate weak demand in the world's biggest economy, analysts said.
New York's main contract, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for delivery in December, slipped 16 cents to $98.14 a barrel. The November contract expired on Tuesday after declining $1.42 to settle at $97.80.
Brent North Sea crude for December delivery eased three cents to $109.94.
