Looks like David Corenswet is not done saving the world just yet.

Before his standalone Superman fully takes flight, the actor is already back in action – popping up in the newly released trailer for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.

Yes, the cape stays on.

The March 31 trailer gives fans a quick but telling moment: Superman checking in on his cousin, Kara Zor-El, played by Milly Alcock.

"You're not going to find your stride here if you keep going off-world all the time, Kara. I'm worried you're not going to find your people," he tells her.

Her response? Not exactly hopeful.

"Well, that's the thing, Clark, I have no people."

And just like that, the tone is set.

Directed by Craig Gillespie, the film leans into the emotional gap between the Kryptonian cousins. While Clark had Kansas and a moral compass, Kara… not so much.

"Even though they're cousins, you get this almost older-sibling dynamic and that can be adversarial at times," Gillespie explained. "He's the gentle guy… and she's having to find a way and find herself."

Plot-wise, expect chaos. Kara sets off on a three-day mission to save her superdog Krypto after he’s poisoned by Krem of the Yellow Hills (played by Matthias Schoenaerts).

Oh, and Jason Momoa shows up – but not as Aquaman. This time, he’s the wild card bounty hunter Lobo.

If Alcock looks familiar, that’s because she broke out in House of the Dragon. Now, she’s officially the new Supergirl – stepping into a role previously held by Melissa Benoist and Sasha Calle.

Mark June 26. DC might have just found its next big hero.
