Zendaya shares true feelings when she is away from Tom Holland

The internet may be busy playing detective over rumoured secret weddings, but Zendaya keeping things grounded – and surprisingly relatable – when it comes to her relationship with Tom Holland.

Speaking on Modern Love, the Euphoria star got candid about how she knew Tom was not just another co-sta. turns out, it was not fireworks, it was calm.

“I think sometimes, at least in my personal experience, I found that— sometimes people can get nervous around people,” she shared. “but there's a certain feeling that I was able to experience when I knew that this is my person, because I didn't.”

And here’s the twist. “I don't feel nervous, I feel really peaceful and I feel really calm. And feel like, ‘Oh, I actually feel more nervous when I'm away from you than when I'm with you.’ And that's when I was like, ‘Ah, that's a good sign, that’s me listening to intuition.’”

Cue collective sigh.

That feeling, she says, goes all the way back to their first meeting during the audition for Spider-Man: Homecoming.

“We first met in an audition, so I was pretty nervous anyway, but he did make me feel calm,” Zendaya recalled. “just by being a nice person… yeah, he was really lovely then.”

As for those wedding rumours? Don’t expect a confirmation – or denial. Zendaya made it clear she values her privacy.

“I just feel like for me there is this level of a parasocial investment in my personal relationship,” she explained, adding she’s “a very private person.”

Translation: we can adore them… just not all of them.

“I hear it,” she said of the buzz, “but also my own little boundaries…”
