Is Amanda Batula coming back to ‘Summer House' season 11?

Amanda Batula will not be returning to Summer House for its eleventh season, with multiple sources confirming she was not invited back following her controversial romance with West Wilson.

"Amanda was not invited back to season 11," an insider told Us Weekly exclusively, explaining that executives felt her absence of organic relationships with the rest of the cast meant it wouldn't "be a fun summer."

The source emphasised that Summer House is fundamentally "about the cast having a good time together" despite whatever conflicts may arise, and without those genuine connections, the fit simply wasn't there.

"Amanda seems to agree it's not a good fit," the source added, noting that other cast members are also on board with the decision.

Whether she might return for the Summer House spinoff In the City after its debut season remains uncertain, with one insider describing the situation as "up in the air."

For her part, a third source shares that Batula, 34, "wants to focus on her mental health" following a bruising season 10 reunion, where she faced pointed questioning about the timeline of her relationship with West Wilson, 31.

"Amanda doesn't feel those are her genuine friendships anymore and wants to focus on her next chapter and what that looks like," the source said.

"[She] and West are at ease that they will not be on the show. They are both OK with moving on."

Wilson had already been confirmed as departing the show earlier this month.

He broke his own silence on the matter during an Instagram recap with The Broadcast Boys on 24 June, saying: "I wanted to tell it on my own but that exit rumor is true. In Bravo's defense, I don't think it would have been a fun summer."

A source confirmed his exit was a mutual decision, with Wilson himself already sensing his time on the show was drawing to a close.

Amanda and West announced they were dating in March, having previously denied any romantic feelings for one another, a revelation that came just two months after Amanda and her husband Kyle Cooke, 43, confirmed their separation.

Meanwhile, Summer House originals Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke and Kyle Cooke are all reportedly hoping to return for season 11 and are currently in contract negotiations.
